Yuriy Reshetnikov, member of the CDU Assembly, deputy head of the Social Council for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Organizations under the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, has participated in the conference “Christian Pedagogue as Challenge for Current Education System”.

He greeted the conference’s participants in the name of the party’s and social council’s leaderships and emphasized importance of the Christians’ professional pedagogical activity in educational institutions in order to bring children up basing on Christian life principles.

“The position of the Christian community in the education sphere is to be more active,” he noted. Specifically, Reshetnikov stressed that the Church had sufficient scientific potential to write textbooks for different school subjects basing upon Christian values.

The conference was organized by the Children's Ministry of Christian Evangelical Church of Ukraine. Education workers-Christians participated in the conference.
