The parliamentary hearings  “Ethno–National Policy: Achievements and Prospects” will take place on January 11, 2012. The hearings were initiated by David Zhvaniya, Oksana Bilozir, Volodymyr Marushchenko, and Volodymyr Stretovych, MPs of the Right of Choice group, members of the Christian Democratic Union Board.

“Leading specialists, representatives of the state authorities, Ukrainian national NGOs of national minorities, and leading scientific institutions will participate in the hearings. The format of the discussion will allow making further steps in intensifying the dialogue between the state and national communities of Ukraine, regulation of ethno-national relations forming of the ethno-national policy for the further period, and protection of rights of national minorities,” Volodymyr Marushchenko noted.

The parliamentary hearings will start at 3 p.m. (5 Hrushevskoho Str. session hall).
