There is no alternative to Ukraine’s euro-integration course. MP Volodymyr Marushchenko, member of the Christian Democratic Union Party's Board, stated that during the Euro Atlantic Forum “Ukraine and EU Facing New Agreement on Association”.

“Regardless of complication of the negotiations, the association agreement should be initiated and ratified by both parties. That is the only way of development for our state,” the politician said.

He emphasized once more that the reasons of the delay in signing of the document had exclusively political nature. “People in office change, but the foreign-policy course should stay invariable. Ukrainian nation should not suffer because of politicians’ positions. I think, Europe understands that,” he added having paid attention to the fact that EU was also interested in Ukraine’s euro integration.

Let us remind, the Euro Atlantic Forum “Ukraine and EU Facing New Agreement on Association: Free Trade, Energy Security, and Democracy” has been held today following the initiative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation; leading politicians and experts have participated in the forum.
