This week, the PACE Committee on Culture, Science, and Education has actively discussed the question of sport ethics.
Ann Brasso (a small and graceful woman), a very qualified MP from Luxemburg, has raised the veil from the problems of ‘male’ sports with her reports “On Necessity of Combatting Pre-Agreed Matches”.
The necessity of such report have emerged in Europe long ago, as it was said at the committee's meeting, “The crime has become a ruler in sports having conquered it”.
There are a lot of deep-rooted problems in sports: machinations, corruption, violence, doping, violating and infringing sportsmen’s rights etc. There arouses the necessity of adopting more specific laws concerning sports and sport ethics.
