Our goal is the Consolidated Country

We are to understand that there is only one answer for the challenges of today – establishment of the Consolidated Country; the country of equal possibilities without social, language, geographic, religious and ethnic inequality; the country of high culture and general understanding and tolerance.

The history proved that the Christian democratic values are to become the basis for  the new social and political behaviour, beginning of reviving of new, Consolidated Ukraine.

It is time to start doing a comprehensive European-style renovation of the country’s economy, politics, social sphere, and services’ sphere. The key criterion of the renovation is convenience and availability for people. The Chrisitan Democratic Union start the European-style renovation from itself by introducing the collective management of the party.

Local self government without politics!

The party’s key task is depriving local self-governance of politics. It has to be an instrument of solving concrete problems of concrete people living in villages, towns, and cities.

We are for liquidation of regional state administration and passing their functions to executive bodies of the corresponding councils. Duplication of powers is to be eradicated.

European prospects

The CDU sees Ukraine a member of the European Union. This choice is conditioned historically and mentally/ to become a member of the European community,  we are to start the European-style renovation from our flat. High social standards are to be introduced on the everyday level first of all. The changes are to be introduced in the way our neighbours did. They have joined the European Union and have high standards of life. We are not worse! When European standards are in every village and city, Ukraine’s joining the European Union will become a formality
